slow but steady

Finally got the steel beams set.  No crane no problem.   The weather hasn't cooperated one bit.  We're making small strides but at least we're getting this project done little by little.

Some water had frozen in the basement from the rain the other day. We were not able to pour concrete. We have passed that now & expect to do the block work today.  

In The Trenches

Oh what a night!  Trying to hammer metal rebar into solid rock= frustrating.  At least we know we are building on solid rock!!

Rain Rain Go Away

Everything is dug for the foundation. It's supposed to rain all day. Hopefully these tarps do their job & keep the rain from filling up the hole!

Last night part of the basement was dug. Finally progress!  :)
